Hello, my name is Armando amd i am from London, England. I have been living and teaching in HK for the past 5 years now. After a few weeks at my first teaching job it became clear to me that teaching was a great career choice for me. Both rewarding and enjoyable, I found myself quickly becoming attached to teaching. Since my second year in Hong Kong I have been offering my services as a private tutor. It has been a great experience to work with students on a one2one basis and watch their ability and familiarity of the English language grow. I usually try to employ a relaxed friendly teaching style that caters to a more comfortable learning environment. Especially with younger children, this helps them to become more familiar and confident with the English language. In my experiwnce this approach not only results in better grades and an overall increased enjoyment of the learning process, but also in the childs willingness to use English in a nom academic environment which further cements the things they have learned in class.
